This year Portland Fashion Week is going to try to get some attention from the major fashion press, using what our region currently has as a foothold: the ethical fashion movement. Timed to happen in mid-October, after LA Fashion Week wraps and the press is still on this side of the country, two local lines have been committed to show during the week, both of whom are well known for their commitment to sustainable design and production: Anna Cohen and Sameunderneath.
