I keep seeing these sneakers everywhere. I’ve been calling them “Dickensian.” Everyone says they bought them at Sole (1033 NW Couch).

A call over to the store revealed that they are from Southern California’s BC Footwear, and still available in both the black and plaid, plus other varieties are due to the store for fall. The style is called “Coast to Coast. Only $44!

Where can I get mens shoes like this? Actually, I wear a seven--too small for most of the good shoes I find around town. Suggestions?

Why not just go ahead and get these? Especially since you have small feet, they probably have ones that'll fit you at Sole. I mean, screw prescribed gender fashion, right?

Otherwise, check out Louie's (as in Imelda's & Louie's), Just Be, Halo, and Lifted for sneaks. Also if you can hold out for fall, Denwave is getting in Common Projects.

Thanks! I've had problems with ladies shoes before--not as wide, perhaps? Or is that my imagination? Ladies shoes are so much nicer looking, really.

Louie's never has smaller sizes. I'll check out those other places.

I'm really into these things. My wife just brought a pair of the low versions home. And, I wish I'd made them. They're so cute!
