The Paris haute couture shows ended last week, and I’m still absorbing them. (Go here to see the coverage if you haven’t already.) Chanel is always a favorite, and this season is no exception. Leave it to Karl Lagerfeld to have me wanting a pair of, like, leather spats… pants… things.

The collection was teeming with these, in a variety of fabrics, colors, and bedazzlements:




I wish I knew where they ended up on top. I can only assume they become pants/leggings. They seem like they’d be bunchy and weird as thigh highs. Either way, I’m fascinated.
