The new web site whet my whistle over the weekend to stop by Halo Shoes. I really love that their merchandise keeps its distance from trends, and retains a really artistic aesthetic. And, it needs to be noted that they have brought in a number of lines with a more modest price point (Corso Como is a perfect example—to give you an idea, that line is also available at Imelda’s). It’s nice that now you can get in and out of there without spending the rent money, and the covetable high end merch is still there for when you’re able to splurge. They’ll be continuing to get in new fall shipments from favorites like Moma and Chie Mihara, so keep checking back.
The brown and black Corso Como boots are a quality classic, and not over the moon expensive.
These “two-faced” boots from Cydwoq are some of the hottest I’ve seen them produce.
I tried on these Dries Van Noten shoes for fun, to see how much height they would give me. They are so wacky, like orthopedic fetish shoes.
