Piece of the Week

Posted by Brett Glass on Thu, May 1 at 9:52 AM

Ive got a fashion philosophy: buy a few good pieces instead of a bunch of junk. Quality over quantity. In that vein, check this out:

idom%20dress.jpg

There are so many things to recommend this dress:
Its interwoven with shiny gold lurex thread.
Its totally wearable.
Its sewn by homemakers in Bangkok. Fair trade!
Its inspired by Le Corbusiers Villa Savoye building outside Paris.
Its from local designer Modi Soondarotoks Idom line.
But seriously? I was sold at gold lurex. $215, Idom, 1600 NE Alberta.

Comments

I could live in this dress. It is so easy and hides my load bearing walls, just like the Villa Savoye!

you had me at "shiny".
