Fashion Summer Goods from Pastel Apparel

Posted by Marjorie Skinner on Fri, May 23 at 3:38 PM

I’m pretty much in denial that this weather is happening right now. I’m just going to go on believing that these are the last days of spring and first days of summer, and that they’re just so, so beautiful. In keeping with my unwavering faith in the existence of warm sunshine, here are some new pieces from Tina Richard’s Pastel Apparel out of Vancouver, WA. (She knows about PacNW weather.)

I love the cut of this dress. Abbreviated and waist accentuating are my primary desires in a dress. I’m tiring of the hipster mini mu’umu’u.

Look for lightweight florals from Pastel like this at Frock (1439 NE Alberta)

And for summer nights she whipped up this jacket with colorful stitching:

This was co-designed with Nathan Carlson of Foundation Garments (2712 NE Alberta), where it is stocked exclusively.

Right on, Marjorie. Abbreviated is the way to go!Who's that model?!

I may be mistaken, but I think that's Tina modeling her own designs.

The back of this jacket can't be missed:
