Church & State Fall 2008

Posted by Brett Glass on Sun, Oct 12, 2008 at 9:39 PM

Prior to Saturday's official Portland Fashion Week event, I got to see Church & State's fall 2008 collection at Frances May.
It totally spoiled me for everything to come.
Vintage and delicate without ever becoming too precious, their dresses, blouses, skirts, coats and, yes, rompers, are what every fashion-forward Portland girl wants in her wardrobe.
Well except for the rompers. I mean, I love them, but I (sadly) haven't seen any girls frolicing around town in them. Paired with tights and boots they'd be so cute! Think about it.
Regardless, cheers to Rachel Turk and Nathaniel Crissman for crafting a beautiful collection...and totally outshining anything going on across town.
More photos by Minh Tran after the jump.

i am a huge fan of jumpers. unfortunately i can never seem to find them anywhere besides urban outfitters... and those aren't made to last. i found one that's more of a swimsuit cover up at the sword + fern. jumpers are hard, because the fit has to be perfect.... i am just saying...
