First Thursday Agenda

Posted by Marjorie Skinner on Thu, Nov 6, 2008 at 11:07 AM

Many delightful firsts this week, eh? It keeps on rolling with tonight's First Thursday festivities: Frances May is where you're accustomed to going for the art you wear on your back, but for the first time they're crossing into the art you hang on your walls with Jacob Cartwright's new exhibit. Come for the art (and clothes), stay for the beer and champagne! (5-8 pm)

Meanwhile, pop over to the brand new shop at nearby 414 SW 10th, Radish Underground, is having its grand opening, featuring co-owner Celestial Sipes' Aster Park line. Plus check out the rest of the store's "small farm fashion" from up and down the coast, including LA's raw earth wild sky, which makes this extremely cozy-but-feminine looking coat that I am digging:

Next, cross over into Northwest for Bubble Boutique's "A French Affair," where you can preview new arrivals of clothing and decor fresh from France, along with hors d'oeuvres and champagne from 6:30-9:30 pm. Plus, 15% off purchases.

See you out and about...
