Isaac Hers Summer Collection

Posted by Marjorie Skinner on Fri, Jun 5, 2009 at 10:02 AM

Just got a peek at the photos from a shoot for Barbara Seipp's newest collection for her Isaac Hers line (as seen as part of the opening showcase at the Forecast fashion show). It takes its cue from "preppy, country club sportswear" but I like how she has it styled here in the photos, taken by Hannah Bates—just a tiny bit rough, like the rogue tomboy late to teatime at mummy's after a rough game of croquet. I'm particularly smitten by the almost-empire waist belted black and white number paired with the scuffed white oxfords, and of course I'm always a sucker for sky-high minis.

For now Isaac Hers is exclusive to Seipp's N Mississippi boutique, Phlox, but coming this fall she will begin wholesale distribution of the line, which is wholly designed and produced in PDX.
