OFFICE Swings Through Town to Talk About China

Posted by Marjorie Skinner on Mon, Oct 5, 2009 at 12:19 PM

Dang, what's with all the talk in town about China? First the FUSE international fashion show and now this: OFFICE closed its Alberta store a bit back and took the show on the road—they'll be in San Francisco on the 21st—but they're coming back for another Portland appearance scheduled for October 28 (7-9 pm) at Froelick Gallery. It's a pop-up event featuring a design panel (including Nike Retail Director Greg Stobbs), product, and booze centered around the discussion of art and design in China, in conjunction with the Portland Art Museum's "China Design Now" exhibit opening on the 10th (and running through January 17). I need not point out the obvious rising profile Chinese culture and influence—it's a very fascinating boat you probably shouldn't miss. RSVP now!
