Shopping Bazaars: When Less is More

Posted by Marjorie Skinner on Tue, Dec 15, 2009 at 10:33 AM

If you were on of the billions and trillions of people that attended the Crafty Wonderland sale on Sunday you probably either got all your shopping accomplished in one crowded, frantic swoop or you got completely overwhelmed and confused and left empty-handed. If you fall into the latter category, you may want to check out a couple sales this week that are of a more manageable size, with booze on hand to soothe your frayed "stop-telling-me-how-many-days-are-left" nerves.

Tomorrow night at the Spare Room (42nd & Alberta) from 5-8 pm, there's a sip 'n' shop with plenty of vintage clothing, records, art, and handmade gift ideas, DJ AM Gold. Also those who tripped over several strollers on Sunday can take heart in the 21+ factor.

Sunday at Tiga you'll have another opportunity to purchase from a variety of vendors, plus drink and food specials like crepes and hot boozy dranks. That goes from noon-5 pm.
