Coats for Cubs

Posted by Marjorie Skinner on Wed, Oct 20, 2010 at 9:44 AM

It's time again to rid yourself of any and all unused and unwanted fur and shearling—of any quality—for a sweet cause. The Buffalo Exchange is taking donations for Coats for Cubs, a Humane Society program that uses donations of fur (including trims and damaged pieces) as bedding for injured and orphaned wildlife. Wherever you stand on the use of fur in fashion, this is a great, easy way to recycle it... and how can you resist these bunnies, anyway????

Get your donations together for the drive kick-off on November 13, which runs through April 22. Portland locations are at 1036 W Burnside and 1420 SE 37th.
