Local Girl Makes Good In Cool vs. Cruel Fashion Design Competition

Posted by Marissa Sullivan on Wed, Nov 3, 2010 at 1:59 PM

Local student Mischelle Johnston will represent The Art Institute of Portland as one of 17 finalists who will compete as part of The Humane Society of the United States’ sixth annual Cool vs. Cruel Fashion Design Competition. This year’s finalists were chosen from among more than 200 entries, so it's very exciting to a see a Portlander make the cut. Among others who will be judging the competition are younger sister of the Olsen twins, Elizabeth Olsen, and one of my favorite designers, Charlotte Ronson!

Join their Fabebook page or go to the Humane Society for more information.

Here's a look from last year's local winner, Isaiah Whitmore.
