Clean Up at The Cleaners

Posted by Marjorie Skinner on Fri, Nov 5, 2010 at 10:23 AM

Black Friday can be a dicey situation, for sure. The crowds, the pushing, the corporate desperation, the protesters—not my idea of a relaxing, thoughtful shopping experience. However, a newly announced event is actually tempting me to stick a toe in these troubled waters: Some of my favorite shops and designers are teaming up at the Ace Hotel Cleaners for Clean Up At the Cleaners. On Friday November 26, from noon-6 pm, shop for gifts priced $5-99 (with decision-making assistance from a cash bar) from AK Vintage, Better Late Than Never, Sword + Fern, Emily Katz, Frances May, Frank James, and OLO Fragrance! Oh, and in case you were hoping to splurge on something over the $100 mark, the stores involved will also be open for business with Black Friday deals of their own. Also of grave import: They will have a wrapping station!

An OLO scent for everyone on your list!
