A Crafty, Cozy Project

Posted by Marjorie Skinner on Tue, Nov 30, 2010 at 9:11 AM

Crafty Wonderland is using its downtown pop-up at 802 SW 10th for good: Through December 21, drop off unused "cozy" handmade items, like scarves, hats, gloves, and blankets (or, knit a few rows on an in-progress scarf at the shop) and they'll get them to a Transitions Projects/YWCA-hosted women's shelter downtown and to New Avenues for Youth. Haven't been to the Crafty pop-up? They've still got plenty of events coming up to use as an excuse:

Thursday, Dec 2nd, 5-7pm - Sweet Treats - artisan dessert tasting
w/ Confectionery - www.confectionerypdx.com
Saturday, Dec 4th, 12-4pm - Wacky Holiday Photo Booth - Christmas Sweater Bonanza!
Thursday, Dec 9th, 5-7pm - Sweet Treats - artisan candy tasting
w/ Rose City Sweets - www.RoseCitySweets.etsy.com
Thursday, Dec 16th, 5-7pm - Bath & Body Trunk Show
w/ Molly Muriel - www.mollymuriel.com
Saturday, Dec 18th, 12-4pm - Jewelry Trunk Show
w/ Betsy + Iya AND Focal Length Designs - www.betsyandiya.com AND www.ibwatson.etsy.com
Thursday, Dec 23rd, 5-7pm - Crafty Holiday Happy Hour
Thursday, Dec 30th, 5-8pm - Closing Party

And of course, don't forget that the big Super Colossal Holiday Sale is still on, December 11 & 12 at the Convention Center.
