Crafty / Event Boomshakalaka

Despite their numerous difficulties, Portland is still showing its loyalty to the Trail Blazers this season in a big way. Now Land is jumping in on the action with "Boomshakalaka," a group show of designers, artists, and crafters giving tribute to our beloved (if oft-wounded) local heroes. The lineup of contributors is pretty great, including Susan Beal & Andrew Dickson, OMFG, Amy Ruppel, and Anthony Georgis, to name just a few of the 30-some participants curated by Clifton Burt (a complete list is here). Pencil it into your calendars now: The opening reception will be on Friday, February 18 at 7. In the meantime, check out OMFG's suitably apropos bicycling cap design:
