Start saying your goodbyes to two institutions on Portland's independent fashion and retail scenes. Portland Fashion Synergy (PDXFS) has announced that they are dissolving. Official quote: "Our volunteer board members and advisors managed and produced all of our programs and events — a huge commitment considering everyone works full-time already. Unfortunately, this approach was not sustainable."
Secondly, Bubble Boutique is closing up shop. Official vague hint of future endeavors: "While Jessica [Munn] will miss her lively shop and all the loyal clients she has wardrobed and gotten to know personally over the past few years, she is eager to transition into her next creative business venture, to be announced in the near future.
