A fabulous crowd of Pearlites, fashion mavens, and hipsters alike gathered Thursday evening for the very well attended Moulé “Stolen” fashion show. After a bit of a late start, the show began with a bang with a live performance by White Hinterland. After a short set, the anxious crowd buzzed about until the music thumped a little louder and the runway show began. Exquisitely styled models all wearing looks available at Moulé donned the catwalk. Owner/designer Rachel Mara debuted lust-worthy spring pieces. The feel was seventies chic but quite contemporary. The key standouts were; stripes, flouncy frocks, and casual separates. The menswear looks were sleek and fitted. Sophisticated leather jackets, button down shirts, and straight-legged pants created clean lines. Spring hues ranging from coral, khaki, pale pink, to blue complimented the overall feel of the show. The first 50 shoppers to spend $200 received some swanky swag bags, complete with a pair of 34 heritage jeans among a slew of other fabulous goodies. The excited crowd immediately began shopping as soon as the show came to an end. Stocked full of this spring’s essential items, Moulé is a must stop shop on my list!
