Staring down the barrel of a rainy first week in June-uary (life begins when the temps rise above 80 on Saturday—allegedly), an event called Snow Cones seems like a bit of a cruel joke. This clearly was not the intention down at the Golden Rule HQ, where they've paired up with Project Grow on an exhibit combining fashion design by Tess Bidelspach, soft sculpture by Viola Brown, and a community-participating mural/fiber arts project inspired by green and blue snow cones. Altogether an excellent reason to get out of the rain. And bonus! The shop will be serving snow cones for the duration of the exhibit, through the end of June. (The opening reception is on Friday from 7-10 pm.) Sneak peeks look divine:
