It's summer, and between the biking, the camping, the river trips, and the music festivals, some shit is bound to happen, all too often in the form of sunglasses that get crushed, lost, or chewed up by a rogue barbecue dog. Squinting indefinitely isn't an option (your face will stay like that, you know), so you just gotta bite the bullet and buy a new pair. Should you have arrived at that place, you're in luck, because Lizard Lounge is hosting the launch of Warby Parker's new Sunwear Collection this very evening, from 6-9 pm at the store. The new styles come in classic black and tortoiseshell, but I'm digging the slightly offbeat versions in grey, midnight blue, and sunny mottled yellow/orange. Check them all out here, and later, IRL.
