THE SWORD AND THE STORE- Impoverished fashion fans, take heart! Starting at midnight tonight, sword+fern will be running an online sale on new and classic items at Loving Eco, with a portion of sales going to Wholesome Wave.
FLEAS- For a city that loves vintage shopping and junk-diving as much as Portlanders do, there's been a pretty notable vacancy where flea markets are concerned, but that might change if Portland Flea takes off. The Flea's inaugural market will take up a city block this Saturday, between Belmont and Yamhill on SE 6th. Ethos Music will also be around, accepting gently used instruments for their fall donation drive.
SE 6th at Belmont, 8 am, FREE
AMAI-ZING- Today also marks the beginning of Amai Unmei's annual sale! The sale, running through October 2nd, will take up to 50% of the designer's Summer 2011 Collection, and given Portland's tendency to swing back toward summer for at least a few more days in late September, that could be a very good thing.
2275 NW Johnson, Tues-Sat 11-6 pm, Sun 12-5 pm
