Another outlying Portland Fashion Week event for your radar: I usually associate Stephanie D Couture with wedding gowns. And I generally associate House of Lolo with clothing designed in Los Angeles. So I'm happy to have my expectations bunked by the union of Stephanie's holiday party dresses with the newish Pearl District shop. On Thursday, Oct 6, the evening before her S/S '12 debut on the runway, Lolo will host the official launch of the holiday line along with refreshments and smokey-eyed consultations with KSN Makeup. Think it's too early to start planning your holiday party get-ups? Just wait. It'll be December before you know it.
