Apron Strings

Posted by Jessie Drake on Fri, Nov 11, 2011 at 9:59 AM

It's baking season, and I've learned from experience that holiday treats always turn out better if you make them while wearing an apron. Even if you can't tell a ladle from a spatula, a whimsical, practical apron will give you super powers. Lucky for you, lots of Portland Etsy Sellers have aprons for sale—from the sweet to the silly, even aprons for kids.

Or, there's an opportunity this weekend to make your own apron with Pendleton Woolen Mill. Choose from the provided jacquard prints and felt binding, or throw down an extra $10 to pick other fabric. Bring your own sewing machine, or rent one from Pendleton for $25.
