Holiday Happenings This Weekend

Posted on Fri, Dec 16, 2011 at 5:57 PM

Last minute weekend shopping update!

Check out this week's Sold Out for a list of the bigger events going on during this last weekend before Christmas, and don't forget about Adam Arnold's Damn, it's Cold Sale, which runs Saturday through Tuesday, and Half Pint's Buy One, Get One Half Off all day Saturday.

But on top of all that, here are a couple more events to chew over for your weekend spending.

Crafty Wonderland: The brick-and-mortar location will have its prop-tastic Wacky Holiday Photo Booth set up from 1-5pm for Sunday shoppers. They'll be offering printed copies for $5 or online copies for $3, with a portion of the photobooth proceeds, and 100% of the proceeds all day Sunday, going to help Crafty employee Sarah Barth with her cancer treatment.

  • Bettie Newell

Mag-Big: If you don't want to take your own photos at Crafty Wonderland, Portland artist Bettie Newell may be able to provide you with some at her show Saturday from 6 to 8pm.

  • "Nathaniel" at Vintage Shoe Co.

Lizard Lounge: The Boot Up! Trunk Show is afoot at Lizard Lounge this Saturday. The event will feature boots from Red Wing, Timberland, Wolverine, Danner, and Vintage Shoe Co. and run from noon to 5pm. Rumor has it there will be whiskey cider and giveaways for all!

And! If you hurry, you can still make it to the Holiday Pretty Factory event at Solestruck going 'til 9pm tonight. There are also holiday shopping parties going on tonight at Modo Boutique, grayling, and Tilde.
