Shopping Guide The Northwest Collective Sample Sale

This is tucked away in my column's calendar this week, but it warrants another mention because it's pretty epic. Call me a half-full kind of person, but I think one of the upsides to Portland's eclectic spring is that you can score past season winter merch and legitimately wear it prior to November. I wore the deeply discounted wool coat I plucked off a sale rack a month ago just this morning on my moistening walk in to the office. These things please me.
Anyhow, this thing is going all weekend and features 12 different brands—not all local—at up to 80% off, and with names like Dehen, Lizard Lounge, and Bridge & Burn involved, it should be especially great for the fellas. These things attract crowds, so get there early and try not to throw any elbows. Much.
