As an alum of the Fashion Marketing program at The Art Institute of Portland, I know how much time, effort, and love goes into each year's graduate show presentation. Not to be missed, this year’s show has paired up with the Interior Design program to bring you Dressing Rooms. Each year the Apparel Design program teams up with another major at the school for a special showcase before the senior collections hit the runway. Dressing Rooms will highlight an interior design fashion installation inspired by the eclectic neighborhoods of Portland. Last year's Fit 2 Print show was a mahj success, and knowing AI they will make sure to outdo themselves for the 14th annual spring show. This show is a fabulous opportunity to see up and coming new talent debut fresh ideas at their first runway presentation. Tickets are on sale now, and benefit the school's Creative Arts Scholarship fund. The event takes place June 2 at Pure Space with a silent auction at 6 pm, and show at 8 pm.
