The Pink Carpet Project

Posted by Marjorie Skinner on Thu, Jun 7, 2012 at 12:29 PM

This August, Planned Parenthood is throwing a huge fundraiser fashion show called the Pink Carpet Project, which will be emceed by myself and Portland Monthly fashion editor Eden Dawn. Not that us being goofy isn't reason enough to attend (we are actually really good friends; anticipate dorkdom), but all proceeds go to one of the most important non-profit institutions in the area, and the lineup of Pacific Northwest designers ain't too shabby either, a mix of the familiar and the "foreign": Sharon Blair, owner of Portland Sewing and SKPDX, Joshua Buck’s Chicago Harper, Lisa Silveira of Wandering Muse, Lisa Vian Hunter, featured on NBC's Fashion Star, the English Department, IDOM, Ilha Swimwear, Cameron Levin, Clear Coated Rainwear, Clair Vintage Inspired, and Ms. Wood.
