Cleanse: Conclusion

Posted by Elizabeth Mollo on Fri, Jul 6, 2012 at 2:01 PM

I survived the 21-day cleanse! It was a major exercise in self-discipline, and succeeding in that alone is a great reward, something quite similar to that Rocky-running-up-the-stairs scene. The hardest part was not being able to drink alcohol, especially when attending an exclusive Solestruck party with an open bar, watching everyone else have a boozy good time while relegated to my millionth glass of lemon water.

All the benefits that were promised came true, more energy, better quality of sleep, clear and glowing skin, and just an overall great feeling—I have not felt this good in years. One of the funnest things about this cleanse was learning how to turn healthy food into "junk" food (asparagus fries, kale and sweet potato chips, eggplant calamari, etc) because let's face it, healthy food gets boring after a while. I also discovered a handy new contraption that helped me turn zucchini into "spaghetti" that I learned about here:

In conclusion, if you are debating on whether to go on this cleanse or not, I say do it! The benefits from this particular cleanse include the Standard Process supplements and Jeanne's support via e-mail. As I mentioned before it is difficult and time consuming, but the benefits far outweigh the minor inconveniences.
