Fashion / Event Silvania at Mabel & Zora

One of the Portland designers I'm most interested in seeing at FASHIONxt is Silvania, a Lima, Peru/Portland that built its house on a legacy of pattern design, allowed to shine against relatively quiet, ladylike designs. It's an aesthetic that dovetails perfectly with NW boutique Mabel & Zora, and so only fitting that they should host the pre-runway trunk show tomorrow from 3-7 pm, where you can take 20% off the fall collection—especially handy if you're planning to hit the shipyards for their Saturday night show (unlike going to see a band, it is good form to wear the designer you're watching).
