Without further adieu I bring you a series I like to call “Adventures at Sasquatch.” Boy has this little festival I used to frequent as a mere high-schooler grown into behemoth event filled to the brim of party ready festival babes. I shot on a film camera, and popping into the media area access next to all of the legit paparazzi style cameras I have to admit I was a bit intimidated. But after getting the film back today I was filled with a rush of nostalgia for days long before digital cameras, Instagram, and iPhone’s. I had all the prints scanned onto a disc for your viewing pleasure. Also included is a selection of photos from Spokane photographer Danika Pariseau, whose photographs capture the true essence of the weekend. PS: anyone standing front row at a concert and not dancing = not nailing it! (I’m talking to you lame-o’s at Grimes sluggishly standing in front of me!) Sound off below on your favorite looks. Stay tuned on MOD to follow my fashion journery through each day of Sasquatch.
We arrived Friday evening a little later than expected and immediately got camp set-up and including our lovely teepee! Shout out to Shayda at General Merriment for the hook-up. The key looks I saw on Friday included lots of printed pants, smart layers (think a sweater with jorts and a hat) and tons of denim – the Canadian tuxedo is here to stay. Some of the top performances for me were Vampire Weekend, Artic Monkeys, and the extremely entertaining performance by Macklemore and Ryan Lewis, then it was time to hit the hay and get ready for Saturday. As we told one of my friends' little sisters, it's a marathon, not a sprint.
