Alley 33

Posted by Marjorie Skinner on Mon, Jun 3, 2013 at 11:14 AM

It's okay to start talking about August already, right? Because, as the indisputably most perfect Portland month of the year, there is always an ass ton of ridiculous fun things to do, and only so much room on your dance card. So make note early: This year's annual Alley 33 fashion show—an outdoor, super high energy fashion show produced by Mag-Big—has been announced for August 10, along with a killer looking line-up of local design talent (oh hey and it's also being emceed by me).

Of particular note is the headlining inclusion of Au Clothing, which is, of course, the line by our newest hometown Project Runway champ Michelle Lesniak Franklin. (I am really enjoying the fact that she is committed to reinvesting herself in the community, BTW.) Other names that I'm particularly excited to see new work from are Filly, Sara Bergman, Aniela Parys, the Mag-Big in-house line, and Make it Good—and if this past winter's similarly Mag-Big-galvanized lingerie fashion show is any indication, there might be some skin-baring knickers up in the mix, so here's to hoping for a scorcher! Peep the entire lineup here!

So last year.
