Bridge & Burn and pattern design studio makelike have just released a new collaboration entitled Hawaii 503. The two Portland companies worked together to create an original Pacific Northwest themed textile pattern that at first glance resembles a traditional Hawaiian pattern, but upon closer inspection reveals elements unique to the Pacific Northwest like rhododendrons, dogwood blossoms, douglas fir trees, lakes, clouds, and rain. The Hawaii 503 print, which is available in two colorways, has been used by Bridge & Burn on 100% cotton short sleeve pop-overs and 100% silk tank tops for women and 100% cotton short sleeve and long sleeve button up shirts for men and is only available on their website and flagship store.
The flagship store will be celebrating this collaboration tonight from 6-9PM with a party where you can see and buy the pieces and enjoy a PDX on the Beach, their take on a Sex on the Beach.
