There are basically a million fashion events and sales happening over the course of the next week and weekend, and for the most part those events cater to the female customer and leave the guys out in the lurch. Luckily Indochino has come to save the day with their Traveling Tailor pop-up store. Based in Vancouver, BC, Indochino provides custom online menswear for "the modern man who wants to look good and live well. From button stance to pocket slant, lapel width to vent slits-every suit is made to individual measurements and tastes." Designed to complement Indochino’s online shopping experience, Traveling Tailor will help men create their own made-to-measure wardrobe.
Over the course of a 30-minute appointment, customers will be measured by a fit specialist and walked through the customization process. There are 20 suit customization options and eight shirt customization options. Suits start at $429, shirts start at $79, and all customizations are free. And a bonus just for being an awesome MODer, mention that you read this post and you will receive 10% off of your purchase! Alternatively, they have a charity tie-in that also gets customers 10% off by bringing in a gently worn suit for donation to Sunshine Division, the not-for-profit arm of the Portland Police Bureau. The pop-up opens today at 922 SW Yamhill Street and will be going through September 23rd with hours being 8am-8pm weekdays, Saturdays 9am-8pm and Sundays 10am-7pm. Appointments are required, and you can set one up here.
