The Return of Winn Perry

Posted by Toby Robboy on Thu, Dec 19, 2013 at 9:59 AM

Good news for the local menswear market: footwear and apparel store Winn Perry is reopening, three years after shuttering its doors. Owner Jordan Sayler says to expect a very similar merchandise mix to before, with Alden Footwear as the foundation line, and a strong emphasis on other premium niche labels, but adds that there will be "further focus on our private label and special make ups."

The store, which was previously located in the Ford Building on Division will be moving to SW 9th Ave, next to Jackpot Records off of Burnside. Sayler and his business partner Kurt Foster chose the West End area because they wanted the location to be "around some of the city's best hotels." Foster adds, "that building has been going through a lot of change with cool new shops and cafes coming."

An exact opening date has not been set, but is expected to be in the first or second week of January. We'll be back with updates as they occur, as well as a first look at the wares, once the store is up and running.
