Unmentionable: The Details

Posted by Marjorie Skinner on Mon, Jan 27, 2014 at 11:14 AM

Way back at the beginning of the month I mentioned the date for this year's edition of the Unmentionable lingerie show (February 11), and now all the details are in. The group show features mainly local designers, as well as the addition of Lille Boutique and a newly US-based branch of Thunderpants. It's partly a showcase of independent manufacturing and part Valentine's Day event, including a decent number of local business vendors. I didn't know quite what to expect at last year's debut, but it ended up being one of my favorite shows of the year. People are onto it now, so hopefully the roomier digs at the Doug Fir can accommodate their fans.

Again, this year's lineup includes Lille Boutique, Make It Good, Rachel Rector, Urchin, Sarah Bibb for Folly, Thunderpants, Mag-Big, Allihalla, and Iron Oxide. The vendors:

Betsy and Iya
Imaginary Authors Perfume
Make It Good
Mag-Big
Amy Vance Soy Candles
Iron Oxide
Allihalla
Thunderpants
...and more!

Unmentionable: A Lingerie Exposition, Tuesday, February 11th at the Doug Fir Lounge w/DJ Gregarious, 7pm Doors. 8pm show. $10 adv. $12 door. It's quite likely that this will sell out, so you might want to get your tickets on the soon side.
