Silent Auction in Overlook

Posted by Katie Guinn on Wed, Feb 19, 2014 at 8:59 AM

Here's something for all you NoPo neighbors and supporters: The Overlook neighborhood is having a silent auction tonight to draw up support for the Overlook Street Fair in late July. The street fair, which runs along N. Killingsworth from Gay to Concord includes some of Portland's best artisans and food makers, but there could be more, so this year the campaign is kicking off with an auction.

Some of the best NoPo businesses have donated items to help raise $$$ for things like a better stage, more live music, and advertising. Items up for auction include: Adorable children's clothing from Mama Runs with Scissors, art prints from Betsy Lance and yours truly, and what I believe to be the star of the show, a framed Erte' print. (I have seen it in person and it's gorgeous!) There'll be handmade jewelry and magnets from Quimby Lombardozzi. You can get a personal class at Naked Sheep knit shop, a gift card to NoPo Paws and skin care treatments from Blooming Moon Spa and Into Eden Skin Care. Other contributors include: Atomic Pizza (who just opened a new venue at Hollywood Theater), The Lost & Found, Eddie's flat iron pizza, Blend, Upright Brewing, Handsome Pizza and a custom dinner package with Podkrepa!

Besides the incredible mix of pieces available, the venue itself is going to be something to see. The past couple years, the building between Podkrepa and Naked Sheep on Killingsworth has been under renovation stages. It was recently completed, and this is its first event! Tickets are $15 at the door, and that includes food and drinks.
Hatfield Warehouse, 2130 N. Killingsworth, 7-9 pm
