Let's Hear It for the Boys Fort

Posted by Katie Guinn on Fri, May 9, 2014 at 8:59 AM

The Boys Fort started in 2011 as a pop-up shop curated for men with style, and were able to open a brick and mortar downtown in May of last year.

The fact that they advertise themselves as a "manthropolgy" of locally designed wares and nostalgic curiosities is both entertaining and accurate! Instead of having a party, they are hosting a three-night celebration, and Tom Spanbauer will be there! Here's the line-up:

Friday May 30th, 5-8pm
Enjoy an evening of art in the Boys Fort Gallery with artist Jane Terzis, whose "Mischievous boy" paintings will be hanging, along with live music and beer & wine tastings.

Saturday May 31st
New local treasures will be available for spring and each purchase enters customers to win a special Boys Fort birthday surprise. Complimentary coffee from our friends at Ole Latte will be available.

Sunday June 1st, 1-4pm
Noted Portland author extraordinaire Tom Spanbauer reads from and signs his newest novel, I Loved You More.
Also on hand, Breakside Brewery will be offering tastings of their latest brews.

*All events at Boys Fort 902 SW Morrison Street
