Tabor by Compound

Posted by Marjorie Skinner on Tue, May 20, 2014 at 10:59 AM

Today's lookbook highlight is one for the boys, and the boyishly inclined: Tabor, by Compound, all of which is manufactured in Portland (not counting the kicks they're styled with, obviously). This kind of streetwear niche isn't one that you often see emphasizing local production, so it's nice to see an inroad here. The more we see diversification of local apparel (mid/low-priced, everyday, sportswear, lingerie, etc)—not just higher-end womenswear, which clearly dominates—the stronger its economic potential.
