<![CDATA[thanks for posting about PFW and bringing up those questions. as a fashion loving portlander i've asked myself these same questions over the years and wondered...what is PFW trying to do? Are we trying to jump on the fashion week bandwagon or are we trying to create something unique? Past fashion weeks have seemed to be all bandwagon. Portland is a city filled with creative people and it possesses the ability to dress, style and present fashion in an original way. I'm excited about Fashion Synergy's potential forum but would like to see discussions on such topics include patrons and viewers rather than those directly participating. We're the ones potentially buying, blogging and bragging about our city's fashion right?
